Thanks everyone who came forward. Teams have been submitted now for the Scottish relay Championships and the Scottish Triathlon Series.
Relay championship selection was straight forward enough. Just pick the fastest athletes and call it a team. We have been able to submit two teams though. A team full of young guns that will be very hard to beat and another team with a strong mix of experience and youth. Could turn out to be great spectating so get along to Strathclyde Park on the 27th May to cheer them on.
The Scottish Triathlon Series teams we harder to call as the scoring is pretty complex (see the link at the bottom). Four events (LochLoman, ArranMan, MunroMan and St Andrews), only the best 3 scores at any one event count, more point for Middle Distance than standard distance and more point available at St Andrews than the other three races too. Oh, and a disclaimer saying that the scoring system may be tweaked nearer the time. Alan Anderson, race organiser has done us a favour though and let us enter the teams late (should have been in over a week ago) so thanks Alan. It’s Loch LoMan this Sunday so lets see if both the Fusion teams can get get off to a flying start.
