Your Committee has been beavering away in the background looking for ways to keep things ticking over for our members during these most strange and unprecedented times.

We are ever mindful of the government guidelines surrounding exercise and the need for continued social/physical distancing.  As such please NOBODY be arranging meet ups to train in groups.  The other thing that we are mindful of and should stress is that now is not the time to be making huge increases in the volume or intensity of our training.   Pushing training hard puts stresses on the body and can put a dent in our immune systems while the body recovers from those stresses.  At this point in time we all need our immune systems to be working at full strength. 

Training at the moment should be moderate intensity at the most and the focus must be shifted from performance improvements to training to maintain good health; both mental and physical. 

With all of the above in mind our Lockdown programme contains a mix of more social things as well as training things.

SundayBike ride-themed bike rideGo out and ride your bike! Nothing fast nothing technical, nothing too long, just get out and enjoy the fresh air.
Each week we will have a theme and you need to provide us with some photos related to our theme.
WeeklyStrava Art ChallengeEach week we will provide you with something to provide in Strava art- walk/run or ride to get it done.

We are still working on some other stuff and would welcome your feedback and ideas on anything else you would like to see us do for you. 

Please try to get involved and keep our family together !  Juniors are free to join in but there is stuff coming for you too.
